Madness in Mumbai.

The 24 hour train ride was absolutely fantastic. However, I was really relieved to finally get off at the Victoria terminus in downtown mumbai. There were so many people and it was soooo 'sesak' that i walked as fast as I could to reach the exit.

The streets of mumbai arent the best place to be in the middle of the night. Beggars hang around everycorner, alleys that seemingly lead into absolute darkness snake through the city... Scary indeed!

We passed by the infamous Cafe Leopald. Now bustling with activity as if it were a regular night. However, the two guards that stood at the entrace carrying huge guns served as a reminder of the atrocities that happened just last year.

Also, the taj hotel looked so magnificent in the moon light. But it was still cordoned off to the public (repairs, i think). I wonder when it will be open again?
