This.Is.Rajasthan

Alright, so the train from Mumbai to Jodphur was the worst yet. There was no A/C on the train, plus we had very little water with us! NOT FUN! Our neighbours (Who we nickenamed tom & jerry) were quite a laugh though. Theey couldnt speak any english, but they were quite nice nd offered us banana's.

After the train,we entered the hot steaming it that Is Jodhpur. Apart from the weather, I find Jodhpur to be one of the most charming cities I have ever been to. The cramped road filled with little shops letting clith & brasswear reminded me of Aladin. We traveld up to Jodhpur's main fort which was definitely something not to miss! It was so beautiful!!! And we had a clear view of the Blue City from the top. We decided to purchase there Audio tour thingy-s which turned out to be fabulous. So much fun to listen to. This attraction i think is one of the few well maintained places in India.

Also, we stayed at an amazing hotel (Govind Hotel). The owner was really nice and helped us out quite a bit. You definitely gotta stay here if you ever find yourself in the Blue City!

Next stop: Jaisalmer @ the brink of the Thar Desert!

PS- I bought a camel-hide notebook today for 70Rupees. nice.
PPS- Camel Safari Tomorrow. Nervous.
PPPS- So many cows here lah.

next time instead of audio guides look out for tours run by two young boys (like in slumdog).that would be really funny.
